Menus

When you choose Jackets & Toppings to cater your event, your menu can be as compact or as varied as you like. Past experience has always proved that there are a few "must haves" when it comes to baked potato fillings; Baked Beans, Cheese, Coleslaw, Tuna Mayo & Chilli con Carne. These 5 fillings have provided enough choice for up to 150 guests, such is the popularity.

Of course, there is always room for more and additional toppings can include Chicken Curry or Balti, Lentil Bolognaise, Meatballs in Tomato Sauce, Savoury Mince, Beef & Guinness Stew, Chicken & Bacon in Mayo, Cheese & Onion Mix – The list can go on! We have served salads with the potatoes, as well as provided an exciting choice of puddings – Our little oven is so versatile, it can cook most things.

Services

With regards to the service you receive from us, we will take care of every aspect of catering your event. We are self sufficient and will be able to arrive, set up (inside or out) and serve with the minimum of disruption. We can provide disposables if required. Our forks are biodegradable wood – they've come a long way since the wooden chip fork – ours are the size of a metal fork and are quite sturdy. They are also sourced from sustainably managed Birchwood forests. Our potato boxes are also biodegradable & compostable and made of Sugar Cane Pulp. We can also use fibre plates made of the same material for pasties, salads etc.

If your event is at a village hall or any venue that provides crockery, we will ensure that all the items are cleared, washed and put away before we leave. Of course, we always clear our rubbish away and we recycle where we can.
