About Us

Jackets & Toppings is a small, family run venture. Started in 2008 by Marcus & Sarah Hacker, the mobile unit has been seen at bigger & bigger events and is gaining popularity at weddings & parties. The growth in reputation comes from a desire to provide tasty, wholesome food at reasonable prices.

Back in June 2008, when the business was new and small, Sarah & Marcus operated from home and turned family life upside down in the process! Once it was realised that bigger premises were needed, the concept of a retail food shop was born. Consequently in August 2009, The Baked Potato Shop in Boston was opened and has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Instead of returning family life to normal, the opening of the shop just increased the workload, especially during the summer when the mobile unit was working at shows & festivals. As a result, the whole family now works to get prepared for the shows and events. Our 13 year old daughter and 4 year old son all do their little bit, making Jackets & Toppings a truly family affair.
